Washington St. remains unbeaten with win over San Diego St.

FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) — Malachi Flynn had 24 points and Robert Franks added 22 to lead Washington State to the championship of the Wooden Legacy tournament with a 93-86 victory over San Diego State on Sunday night.

The Cougars (6-0) rallied from nine points down midway through the second half to stun the Aztecs (5-2).

Flynn added six assists and five rebounds and was named the tournament MVP. It was the first tourney title for Washington State in eight seasons.

Devin Watson led San Diego State with 23 points and six assists, with Trey Kell scoring 19 and Matt Mitchell 12.
