The Washington football program ranked second and the men’s basketball team was fourth among Pac-12 teams in Academic Progress Rate scores released by the NCAA on Wednesday for the 2013-14 school year.
The Huskies’ football team four-year rolling average increased to 977 – up from 967 last year and well above the national average of 956 for football. UW’s APR has increased in each of the past five years, from a low of 946 in 2009-10.
Washington’s men’s basketball team equaled last year’s mark of 984. The Huskies trail Arizona, Arizona State and Stanford, which received perfect 1,000 scores.
