GOLD RIVER, Calif. — The Washington Huskies men’s varsity eights rowed to the runner-up finish Sunday morning to Yale at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association national championship at Lake Natoma.
Washington’s two earlier wins and other second in the day’s four races gave the university the overall men’s points title with 207. Yale had 205, with California third with 189 points.
The points title was Washington’s 11 in the past 12 years and 16th overall.
