The Huskies’ winning streak – 11 and counting – lives for another year even though they had to work harder than in recent years to maintain their dominance over crosstown upstart Seattle University.
The Washington men’s basketball team rode a strong first-half performance from Andrew Andrews, a dominant inside attack from Marquese Chriss and a few clutch baskets from David Crisp in the final minutes to claim a 79-68 nonconference victory Tuesday night in front of 6,921 at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Andrews, the Pac-12 leading scorer finished with 18 points, Chriss had 16 and Crisp tallied 13 off the bench.
