Washington Huskies linebacker and redshirt freshman Drew Lewis has been dismissed from the program for what is only being called a “violation of team rules.”
John Taylor of NBC Sports’ College Football Talk reported Lewis’ dismissal, which was initially reported via a short statement from the university. Lewis was expected to play on special teams this season.
Prior to joining the Huskies last season and taking a redshirt, Lewis was a three-star recruit out of Eastlake High School in Sammamish, Washington, near Seattle.
If any further details surrounding Lewis’ dismissal are made public, Campus Sports will update this story accordingly.
