On a cool, cloudy afternoon at Husky Stadium, the Washington football team took the field for its final 2015 spring practice Saturday. For the first and only time of camp, Saturday’s practice — referred to as the “Spring Preview” — was open to the public, with a small smattering of fans watching from the stands and some even participating in challenges with the team.
The practice, which was held immediately after a three-hour fan fest event, ran like most of the UW’s practices have this spring, except with more full-team scrimmaging, and with fans participating in various contests on the field, including a long-distance throw, punt-catching contest and a 40-yard dash.
