You couldn’t blame the Huskies if they got caught looking ahead to a tilt with in-state rival and #1 team in the country Gonzaga. And it seemed like that might have been the case on Sunday night as Washington held on in a game that was in doubt until the final seconds by a final of 67-63 against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.
The Huskies actually got off to a fantastic start and it looked like maybe UW would blow the Gauchos out of the water. Crisp made a floater on the first possession and after a pair of kicked balls that reset the shot clock to 20, the Dawgs essentially forced a 50 second shot clock violation.
