Washington has its next offensive coordinator.
Jacksonville Jaguars assistant running backs coach John Donovan — who has also served as the offensive coordinator at Penn State (2014-15) and Vanderbilt (2011-13) — will be the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach with the Huskies in 2020, the program announced on Friday morning.
“Coach Donovan has a great deal of experience at both the college and NFL levels, learning from a lot of great offensive minds about coaching the kind of aggressive, pro-style offense we want to play here at Washington,” first-year UW head coach Jimmy Lake said in a statement.
