During his eight seasons with Boise State, Chris Petersen was one of the most successful head coaches in college football. He amassed a record of 92-12 and led his team to five conference championships (4 WAC, 1 MWC) and led his team to two BCS bowl appearances.
He took the head coaching job at Washington in 2014 and hasn’t had near the same success in a tough PAC-12 conference. His Huskies are a loss away from missing out on bowl eligibility, which would be the first time in Petersen’s career that his team didn’t get six wins.
Despite that, he has recruited very well in two years in Seattle.
