The Washington football program loves to recruit quarterbacks from Folsom High School in California.
They recruited Jake Browning in 2015 who threw for nearly 17,000 yards and 229 touchdowns at while at Folsom. Browning became the second-ever true freshman to start at quarterback for the Huskies and led the team to a College Football Playoff appearance against Alabama in 2016.
They also recruited Austin Mack who was originally part of the 2024 class but reclassified to the 2023 class and enrolled at the University of Washington early. He has a chance to become the starter when Michael Penix Jr.
