After a disastrous game at Stanford, Washington football came into Tucson with a vengeance, and they were able to come away with a 51-27 victory in one of the toughest environments for the Huskies to play in.
Washington’s defense came to play, and showed off their pass rush prowess against the always dangerous Khalil Tate, recording four sacks and nine total tackles for loss.
The Huskies special teams were able to get two turnovers in the first quarter behind a blocked punt from Levi Onwuzurike, and a muffed punt, but the Huskies were forced to settle for field goals.
