Washington football signed the majority of their class during the early signing period. However, they were able to snag another highly touted recruit at a much needed position, in four-star linebacker Daniel Heimuli.
Heimuli fills a major position of need for the Huskies, who are losing their two starting inside linebackers in Ben Burr-Kirven and Tevis Bartlett. Heimuli joins fellow inside linebacker recruits, Joshua Calvert and Miki Ah You, both of whom 247 National Recruiting Editor Brandon Huffman had high praise for.
Those three all have a great chance at cracking the depth chart during summer camp, don’t be surprised if one or two of them even walk away with a starting job, as the status of DJ Beavers is up in the air, and Brandon Wellington is the only other linebacker with any real experience.
