Washington football played arguably their worst first half of the season, losing 13-0 at halftime and having seemingly no rhythm on offense. The only touchdown in the first half came from Colorado’s Laviska Shenault, who grabbed a pass that looked like Trent McDuffie should’ve intercepted.
The Huskies weren’t able to stop the Buffaloes anywhere on offense, as Colorado outgained Washington 406-238 on the night. It was a pretty surprising performance after the Huskies only gave up eight total yards in the second half against Oregon State two weeks ago.
The Buffaloes’ last drive started from their own one-yard line, and was aided by an offside penalty on defensive tackle Josiah Bronson that negated a safety that would’ve really swung momentum in Washington’s favor.
