Washington basketball fought hard and ground out a 90-83 win at Arizona State on Thursday night. The Huskies played one of their most complete games of the season and were able to build some momentum before Saturday’s matchup with the Arizona Wildcats.
The Huskies were able to keep themselves in it, even though the Sun Devils had a lead as large as 12 points in the game. They kept the turnovers to a minimum and converted at the free-throw line late in the game, which had previously been their downfall.
Nahziah Carter led the team with 23 points, and played his most complete game of the season.
