Washington earned a 7-1 nonconference baseball victory at Baylor, thanks to a herculean effort from the bullpen and timely hitting by the offense.
Jack Meggs singled home the tying run in the third and the go-ahead run in the fifth, and the bullpen recorded all 27 outs to ensure Washington (2-1) left Baylor’s campus with wins in two of three games.
