Washington baseball gets shut out by Oregon, 2-0

The Huskies had their best opportunity to get to the Ducks and Krook in the bottom of the fifth, but were denied.

Four Oregon pitchers combined to shutout Washington, 2-0, Friday night at Husky Ballpark to even the Pac-12 series at 1-1.

The Huskies managed only four hits on the night – all off starter Matt Krook – as they fell to 11-7 (3-2 in Pac-12 play) on the season. Three Oregon relievers combined to allow just one baserunner on a walk over the final four innings as the Ducks’ improved to 11-8 (2-3 Pac-12) on the season.
