Washington (20-12, 10-10 Pac-12) faces 8th-seeded Penn State (25-7, 14-6) in the regional semifinal round in Palo Alto, CA at 3 PM Pacific on ESPNU. Top-seeded Stanford (30-1, 20-0 Pac-12) will then face #16 Washington State (24-8, 13-7 Pac-12) at about 5:30 in the second semifinal (ESPN3), with the winners meeting Saturday at 7 PM on ESPNU.
Washington is one of four unseeded teams to make the Sweet 16, joined by San Diego (beat #11 USC), Michigan (beat #12 Pitt), and Florida (beat FGCU, which had previously defeated #13 UCF).
