USC wanted to come out and make a statement in the second half of Thursday night’s game, but Washington beat the Trojans to the punch.
Early in the third quarter, trailing 6-3, Washington quarterback Jake Browning connected with wide receiver Marvin Hall, who found Joshua Perkins streaking into the end zone to give the Huskies the 10-6 lead.
