The Washington Huskies will have only two scholarship players from the 2014-15 season on the roster next season, as rising senior wing Quevyn Winters has decided not to return to the team and will end his basketball career.
Winters’ decision was announced via a statement from the university, which was reported by Scott Phillips of NBC Sports’ College Basketball Talk. In 27 games last season, he averaged 3.4 points over 11.1 minutes per game. Winters also spent a season apiece at Duquesne and Indian Hills Community College.
This marks yet another Huskies player to leave the program without exhausting eligibility, with Winters making six.
