Vancouver Whitecaps defender Pah-Modou Kah, who scored twice in Saturday’s 3-0 win over the Sounders at CenturyLink, has been voted the Major League Soccer Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters.
Kah, who’d scored just a single goal in 57 career MLS appearances prior to Saturday, scored in the 6th minute on the half turn and again four minutes into the second half with a tricky back heel as the Whitecaps jumped into first place in the Western Conference.
The Whitecaps take on the Sounders again on Wednesday at B.C. Place as both teams open the group stage of the 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions League.
