The status of Washington’s top two running backs remains up in the air this week.
Senior Myles Gaskin and sophomore Salvon Ahmed, both dinged in the Huskies’ overtime loss at Oregon on Saturday, are “week to week,” coach Chris Petersen said Monday.
Gaskin injured his shoulder in the Huskies’ Oct. 6 victory at UCLA and aggravated the injury in the first half against Oregon. He did return to the field, getting four carries in the second half, but was in visible discomfort coming off the field after his last carry.
Gaskin has never missed a game in his record-breaking career at UW.
