Washington wide receiver John Ross III and safety Budda Baker have been named to ESPN’s All-America first team.
Ross, who sat out the 2015 season after two knee surgeries, has 76 catches for 1,122 yards and 17 touchdowns this season. He enters the Dec. 31 national semifinal against No. 1 Alabama needing one more touchdown reception to match Mario Bailey’s Pac-12 record set for UW in 1991.
Baker, UW’s versatile junior defensive back, is a two-time all-Pac-12 first-team selection. He has 65 tackles, a team-high 9.0 tackles for loss and two interceptions.
