It seems unlikely Bryant would be available for the Huskies' trip to Cal this week, but a return against Stanford next week might be more realistic.
No. 15 Washington remains optimistic about the potential return of tight end Hunter Bryant at some point this season.
“We are getting close. I will give you that,” UW coach Chris Petersen said Monday.
Petersen has previously said that Bryant has been on track in his recovery from summer knee surgery.
Bryant initially hurt his knee in a game against UCLA in late October 2017.
Sources had indicated then that Bryant had a partially torn ACL.
