Chris Petersen describe his decision to fire his longtime assistant Brent Pease as difficult but necessary.
In a news release, Petersen announced Friday Pease’s dismissal as the Huskies’ receivers coach. On Sunday, Petersen addressed the decision for the first time.
“(It was) hard,” Petersen said. “I think you guys know, I go way back with him, and he is a really good person, and he’s a good football coach.
