The Washington women’s basketball team signed Haley Van Dyke and Tyiona Watkins to national letters of intent.
It’s the second recruiting class for new coach Jody Wynn, who was hired in April.
Van Dyke, a 6-foot forward, is listed 21st nationally among 2018 prep forwards according to ESPN and ranks as the No. 82 player overall according to Prospects Nation. She averaged 23.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.9 steals, 3.8 assists and 3.5 blocks as a junior at Campolindo High School in Moraga, Calif.
Van Dyke scored 765 points – the fifth-most points in the state of California in 32 games last season.
