This week, a City College of San Francisco Quarterback, Tony Rodriguez announced intention to transfer to the University of Washington.
Currently, Husky Head Coach Chris Petersen is short on experienced QBs as troubled 2014 starter Cyler Miles has taken a leave of absence from the team.
“He’s probably the biggest steal at any position out of junior college this summer. We really think that highly of him.”
“He’s very, very smart,” CCSF coach Jimmy Collins said. “I think that’s what made him most attractive to (the Huskies).”
Tony Rodriguez will have two years of eligibility and instantly compete with Junior Jeff Lindquist, Redshirt Freshman K.
