The Washington men’s basketball team is one of eight teams participating in the inaugural Vancouver Showcase, which is one of the highlights of the Huskies’ 2018-19 nonconference schedule.
The eight-team tournament will be played Nov. 18-20 at the Vancouver Convention Centre will also include Texas A&M, Minnesota and Santa Clara. The four regional participants have not been announced.
Washington (21-13) and Texas A&M (22-13) are the headliners of the Vancouver Showcase.
The Aggies finished eighth in the 14-team SEC regular-season race, but they advanced to the NCAA tournament Sweet 16. Meanwhile, Minnesota (15-17) and Santa Clara (11-2o) missed the postseason.
