CORVALLIS, Ore. — The Huskies wrapped up their most anticlimactic game of the season with backups playing all over the field in a 52-7 blowout of Oregon State on Saturday, a win that sets the stage for the most anticipated Apple Cup in more than a decade.
Jake Browning, in one of the most efficient passing performances ever by a Washington quarterback, completed 18 of 20 passes for 211 yards and four touchdowns before taking a seat with a 52-0 third-quarter lead, and fellow true freshman Myles Gaskin rushed for 127 yards in UW’s most lopsided victory over the Beavers in 102 years.
