UW freshman left tackle Trey Adams to face toughest test yet in Oregon’s DeForest Buckner

Trey Adams, the first true freshman to ever start at left tackle for the Huskies, grades out 280th among 306 tackles in college football, having allowed two sacks and eight hurries in 109 pass-block snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

Saturday night, Adams will match up often against Oregon senior DeForest Buckner, who at 6-feet-7, 290 pounds grades out as the best 3-4 defensive end in college football, per PFF. He has four sacks and 21 hurries on his 242 pass rushes.

Oregon ranked 125th in the nation in passing defense, allowing 323.
