For the second time this season, Washington senior linebacker Travis Feeney has been named the Pac-12 defensive player of the week.
In the Huskies’ 49-3 rout of Arizona on Saturday night, Feeney had 11 tackles (nine of them solo), including 4.5 for a loss — tied for eighth-most in UW single-game history — and two sacks. He also forced two fumbles in the game and broke up a pass.
Feeney leads the Pac-12 with 6.5 sacks and is second in the conference with 14.5 tackles for loss.
He also earned player of the week honors after UW’s victory over USC last month.
