Several thousand fans attended the Huskies’ only open practice of fall camp Sunday, a 90-minute workout at Husky Stadium. After holding their first scrimmage on Saturday, it was a light, no-pads workout Sunday, with most drills run at about half speed.
In other words, they didn’t do a whole lot after what sounds like a taxing scrimmage Saturday. Dante Pettis said he played about 25 snaps with the first-team offense in the scrimmage; most of the scrimmage was dedicated to getting backups some quality reps.
Several players who appeared banged up did not participate Sunday, including safeties Jojo McIntosh and Ezekiel Turner, running back Jomon Dotson and linebacker Connor O’Brien.
