On January 1, 2024, the Huskies played Texas in the Sugar Bowl. Michael Penix played out of his mind. Elijah Jackson’s deflection secured the team’s biggest bowl win in a generation. In the following 12 months, the amount of change to the UW football program was monumental. Since then, the team has a new Athletic Director, a new Head Coach and coaching staff, two new starting QBs, a new conference, and an almost unrecognizable roster.
