BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil – Hope Solo, goalkeeper for the U.S. women’s soccer team and Seattle Reign FC, is blaming media for spreading fear about the Zika virus and other problems before the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
Hoping to help the U.S. team earn its fourth straight gold medal, former Washington Huskies standout Solo had expressed her own concerns before the Games.
