The Huskies have their first road test of the season on Friday night, and realignment chaos continues to reign. To the Dots!
Realignment Dots
- It looks like Utah State is the next school to desert the Mountain West, and will join the “Pac-12” in 2026. With Boise State, Fresno State, Colorado State, and San Diego State already in the boat, the Mountain West is firmly in desperation mode.
- Very much a developing situation:
So, to recap the day:
- Memphis/Tulane/USF/UTSA stay in the AAC
- Utah State leaves the Mountain West for the new Pac-12
- UNLV continues to weigh options
- Other schools, like Air Force, could be back in play for others because all 8 MW schools didn't sign to stay together— Nicole Auerbach (@NicoleAuerbach) September 24, 2024
