The top-ranked Washington softball team extended its record to 22-0 with a 4-1 victory over Alabama and a 7-4 win over Brigham Young on Saturday at Husky Softball Stadium.
The Huskies play again Sunday against Portland State at 12:15 p.m.
Against Alabama, Sis Bates and Amirah Milloy each had two hits and a run batted in for the Huskies. Julia DePonte and Rachel Ogasawara drove in the other Washington runs, all against losing pitcher Courtney Gettins (5-1). She allowed six hits in six innings, walking four and striking out four. All four of the runs she allowed were earned.
