Among the players from UW’s Class of 2015, quarterback Jake Browning has gotten the most attention, and rightfully so. He remains in the running to start the opener at Boise State in two weeks, and at times during fall camp he looked like the favorite.
UW coach Chris Petersen has never played a true freshman at quarterback or on the offensive line, but he said Thursday that won’t matter when assessing this young roster.
“The game has changed, and who we recruit has changed,” he said. “We’re going to play our best guys.
