The New York Jets have fired general manager Joe Douglas, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
Douglas' firing comes weeks after the Jets fired coach Robert Saleh after a 2-3 start.
The Jets have since gone 1-5 under interim coach Jeff Ulbrich.
Douglas was in his sixth season as the Jets' general manager. His contract was set to expire fter this season.
