Spencer Jones allowed just two hits over six innings, and the Washington baseball team scored three times in the seventh inning in a 4-1 victory Sunday over Santa Clara at Husky Ballpark.
Jones gave up a run, struck out eight and walked one as UW (6-4) won the decisive game over the Broncos (7-5) in the three-game set.
Alex Nesbitt got the win with an inning of scoreless relief and Troy Rallings pitched two innings for the save.
