After an 18-year absence, the Washington Huskies return to Pasadena to Play in the Rose Bowl game in a matchup between the Pac-12 champion Dawgs and the Big 10 champion Ohio State Buckeyes. While Washington’s success in 2018 was built upon stifling defenses and an imposing rushing attack courtesy of Myles Gaskin, Ohio State engineered their success through a passing offense that generated 48 touchdowns, nearly 5,000 yards and 9.3 yards per attempt. The team that wins the matchup between Ohio State’s passing offense and Washington’s passing defense will have the inside track toward earning the victory, especially if the Huskies can force Dwayne Haskins out of his comfort zone and create opportunities to generate turnovers.
