Reports: Seahawks agree to four-year extension with linebacker Bobby Wagner

A day after Seattle middle linebacker Bobby Wagner said his deadline to get a new contract was “now,” the Seahawks have reportedly signed him to a four-year extension. That will keep him with the Seahawks through 2019.

NFL Network is reporting the news, including a Tweet from former Seahawk Michael Robinson who said that Wagner had told him he had “come to terms” to sign an extension with the team.

Financial details were not immediately available. But it had been thought Wagner would get a contract in the $10 million a year range.

Wagner is entering his fourth season in the NFL and like quarterback Russell Wilson, also entering his fourth season, was now eligible for an extension.
