As first reported by Rivals.com, Washington QB Jacob Sirmon has entered the transfer portal and will likely be leaving the Husky program. It has since been confirmed by Christian Caple of The Athletic, Mike Vorel of the Seattle Times, and 247 Sports.
This move was seemingly inevitable after Sirmon was beaten out in the quarterback competition this fall by Dylan Morris. Sirmon is a year older than Morris and with 5-star QB Sam Huard also signed on to join the program it would have taken a massive improvement by Sirmon or several injuries to envision him ever locking down the job.
