Washington got very welcome news this morning as high four-star Vazoumana “Zoom” Diallo announced to Dawgman.com that he has reaffirmed his verbal commitment to the Huskies. Zoom verbally committed to Washington under the previous coaching staff back in late December.
In the report, Diallo told Dawgman that he wavered back and forth between UW and another unnamed school but “I knew it was going to be Washington three or four days ago...I just continued to sleep on it and my feeling was the same. I trusted my gut, trusted my work.”
The 6’4 guard out of Tacoma is currently the #37 recruit in the class of 2024 in the 247 Sports composite rankings and is the Huskies’ highest rated high school recruit since the class of 2019 when they signed five-stars Isaiah Stewart and Jaden McDaniels.
