Jernard Jarreau, who left Washington after an injury-plagued four-year basketball tenure, will transfer to Oklahoma State.
“Oklahoma State is definitely a good fit for me,” Jarreau told GoPokes.com. “I just wanted a fresh new start. I wanted to go somewhere that is family oriented and that’s what I saw last weekend.”
The 6-10 redshirt junior forward is scheduled to graduate in June and will be immediately eligible to play for the Cowboys next season.
It was believed Jarreau, a New Orleans native, would return to his home state of Louisiana when he announced his decision to leave Washington on April 27.
