Quevyn Winters, a 6-5 senior guard, will not return to the Washington men’s basketball team and plans to end his college career.
The latest news from the Huskies continues an offseason of transition for a team that’s made great strides in recruiting while losing six players from last season’s team due to reasons other than graduating.
Winters is the latest player to depart UW joining a list that includes Nigel Williams-Goss (transfer to Gonzaga), Jernard Jarreau (transfer to Tulane), Darin Johnson (transfer to Cal-State Northridge), Gilles Dierickx (transfer to Seattle Pacific) and Robert Upshaw (dismissed).
