After almost a month of rumors, the Washington Huskies finally announced the transfer of QB Jacob Eason from Georgia. He will have to redshirt this year and then will have 2 remaining years of eligibility after.
Coming out of Lake Stevens High School, Eason was viewed as the top QB in the entire country and one of the top-5 players at any position. He initially committed to Mark Richt and reconsidered his options once Kirby Smart took over but decided to stay with Georgia.
Eason was named the starter from day 1 at Georgia and threw for 2,430 yards with 16 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in his freshman year.
