Washington will enter the 2024 football season without either their starting or backup quarterback as Dylan Morris entered the transfer portal today. The former four-star Puyallup native threw for 3,721 yards with 20 TDs and 17 INTs during his Husky career. He becomes the second member of the team to enter the portal so far this offseason along with safety Vincent Nunley.
Morris has been a point of controversy among the fanbase for many years. He won out a 3-way competition to succeed Jacob Eason back in 2020 over Jacob Sirmon and Kevin Thomson. The Huskies only played 4 games in the Covid-shortened year but Morris played well for a redshirt freshman averaging 8.
