Will Conroy, Washington’s former standout point guard and newest assistant, talks with a passion and conviction about the Huskies men’s basketball team unlike few others, even coach Lorenzo Romar.
You can hear his devotion to his team when he describes about the things he’ll try and teach UW’s nine newcomers.
“These guys are going to be exciting,” Conroy said. “They’re going to be able to get up and guard people as soon as they get off the bus. That’s important. That’s the way we built this program when Coach (Romar) first came here with coach (Cameron) Dollar and coach (Ken) Bone.
