The Pac-12 Tournament couldn’t have started any better for the eighth-seeded Huskies, who throttled No. 9 seed Stanford 91-68 in Wednesday’s opener at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Washington (18-13) faces top-seeded Oregon (25-6) in Thursday’s noon quarterfinal.
Here’s a few notes from today’s game.
— Washington forced 15 Stanford turnovers today. The Huskies have forced at least 10 turnovers in all 31 games this season.
— The Dawgs outscored Stanford by 23points today. Washington’s previous largest margin of victory in a Pac-12 Tournament game was 18 against Oregon when they beat the Ducks 69-51 on March 11, 2011.
