Oregon State upset Washington in five sets Friday night, ending a 27-match losing streak against the Huskies dating to 2001.
Oregon State won 19-25, 25-21, 15-25, 25-14, 15-13 in front of 2,250 fans at Alaska Airlines Arena.
This was the fourth match in an eight-day span and the third five-setter for the Huskies (15-4, 5-3 Pac-12), and they ran out of gas after taking a 2-1 set lead.
