It’s Iowa week, and the Huskies go on the road to Iowa City for their second true road game this season. Iowa is probably the strangest team in college football, or at least in the Power 4. They are Michigan-esque, but weirder (or Michigan is Iowa-esque?). As most college football fans know, Iowa has spent much of the last three years wallowing in offensive ineptitude while fielding one of the most dominant defenses and special teams units in the country. 2021 was the last time that Iowa was in the top 100 nationally in points scored per game (they were 99th), and they cratered in 2023 scoring just 15.
